Compliance Systems Review
The complex regulatory environment where economic and social organisations operate, forces them to manage compliance with both external regulations and internal bylaws.
Having an effective Compliance system will bring about a number of advantages, both from a purely financial point of view and a strategic value generation.
In an increasingly global and competitive world, there is a serious threat of reputational risk for companies that would not follow national and international compliance standards and guidelines, meaning in many cases suffering a significant economic impact with serious consequences for the organisation.
At VVR, we review Criminal Compliance Programmes and Systems implemented by a large numbers of companies that, for different reasons, do not reflect the latest legislative changes and policy recommendations brought about by, amongst other, the latest reform of the Criminal Code (Organic Law 1/2015; the Circular 1/2016 of the State’s Attorney General’s Office; and the UNE-ISO 19600 and UNE-ISO 37001).
We evaluate those plans, adapting and transforming them, thereby minimising the potential risks and expenses the business would have to face otherwise.
